Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:

This Curricular Unit intends to raise awareness of the main models and methods of psychological intervention, their applicability in the context of clinical practice either on an individual or group format, favoring an integrative and eclectic perspective from the professional. At the end of the CU students should be able to describe, analyze and recognize the main assumptions of methods and models presented, with particular emphasis on the cognitive-behavioral approach. Finally, it is expected that students will be able to identify variables that may interfere with the therapeutic process in each intervention model discussed.

Syllabus:
  1. Models of psychological intervention.
  2. Cognitive-behavioral approach.
  3. Other models and methods.
  4. Group intervention.
