In the end course students should be able to:

  • Apply the techniques of scientific research;
  • Develop a critical stance towards the existing information;
  • Assess available information on health, particularly of Physical Therapy;
  • Select, gather, analyze and synthesize the evidence of information from a wide range of sources using methods of gathering and interpreting data in order to provide information to guide practice or benefits;
  • Select and apply techniques and tools for data collection;
  • Implement a research project
Syllabus:
 
Critical analysis of literature.
Practical application of content developed in UC Research Methods and Applied Research in Physical Therapy I in order to prepare the research project, to select its method of data collection.
