Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:

Consolidate the general ideas about the characteristics and functioning of living systems, and in particular the functioning of the simplest living system – the cell, at molecular level. Understand and know the evolution, taxonomy and systematics of living beings.
Learn to identify and characterize the living beings, in particular those with the greatest importance to the forensic sciences, especially bacteria, motile cells, fungi, animals and plants.
Promote the development of capacities of observation and systematization through experiments of colonization of organic matter in putrefaction, plant identification and elaboration of a herbarium of plants.

  4. Evolution and biodiversity.
