Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:
The objective of the CU is to provide the student with basic knowledge about the structure and function of the nervous system. The student will be able to perform a self-learning to update the advances in research and to apply them to practical professional activities.

- Anatomy macroscopic and microscopic of the nervous system.
- The development of the nervous system.
- Basic concepts of electrophysiology and biochemistry of the nervous system.
- Neurotransmitters and neurotrophic factors.
- The autonomous nervous system.
- The neuroendocrine system.
- The neuromuscular junction.
