Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:
Goals:
- Develop analytical skills to understand the results of health research in light of the methodologies used.
- Reflect on the importance of the knowledge produced through the scientific investigation in the care process in nursing.

- Identifies scientific paradigms and relationship with knowledge patterns.
- Interprets reports of qualitative and quantitative studies.
- Analyzes scientific articles taking into account their validity and applicability in nursing practice.

- SYSTEMATIC REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE
Preparation of RSL protocol.
Elaboration of the research question.
Database search strategies.
Critical review of articles.
Discussion and conclusions.
Preparation of the report. - WRITING OF SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES
Construction of scientific articles.
Writing scientific articles.
Elaboration of scientific posters. - CHARACTERISTICS OF STUDIES ON QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH

Qualitative studies: phenomenological and ethnographic, case study, "Grounded Theory" and the Appreciative Inquiry.
