Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:
Goals:
- Acquire the origins of the drug-therapeutic groups, their role as agents as well as their actions and therapeutic effects.
- Know and identify opponents, interactions, contraindications and dosages of the most frequently used drugs.
- Relate drug-therapeutic groups to nursing diagnoses, procedures for drug administration, patient and family education, and assessment of therapeutic settlement.
Skills:
- Know the therapeutic indication and mechanisms of action of the pharmacological groups.
- Detect, prevent and document adverse drug reactions and possible therapeutic errors.
- Identifies and knows the procedures to be performed for safe administration of therapy.
- Know the computer support for the prescription / administration of online therapy.
Syllabus:
- Drugs acting on the cardiovascular system.
- Drugs that modify the growth and cell viability.
- Drugs that inhibits or destriy the bodies invaders.
- Drugs acting on hormone systems.
- Other Drugs.
