Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:

Goals:

  • Develop the capacity to integrate and articulate knowledge.
  • Promote the applicability of theoretical knowledge to professional practice, through activities developed in the scope of health promotion to the user throughout the life cycle.
  • Learn to conceive care based on identified needs of individuals, families or communities.
  • Develop basic nursing tools.
  • Train the decision-making process.

Skills:

  • Initiates and develops therapeutic relationship.
  • Develops appropriate communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Learn to respect the ethical and humanistic dimensions inherent in the exercise of the profession by developing attitudes and values oriented towards citizenship and solidarity.
  • It acts in a humanitarian way respecting the bioethical principles of autonomy, justice, beneficence and non-maleficence.
  • Mobilizes the knowledge acquired necessary to solve the situations involved.
Syllabus:

Internship:

The syllabus contents of the Clinical Teaching are inherent to the articulation and integration of the contents of the different curricular units of the first year, aiming at the development of competences focused on the awareness of nursing practice, decision making and problem solving from a health perspective.
Tutorial guidance will be on the student's trips to ESSEM for moments of reflection and sharing of care processes experienced by students.
