Promote knowledge and critical thinking about:
- The evolution and plurality of the concept of personality (P)
- Its determinants and how they contribute to the structuring and development of Personality
- The methodologies used in the investigation of the Personality
- The different theories of Personality
- The predictive dimension of Personality and its importance in the various areas of psychology
Skills to be developed:
- Discuss and describe the multi-conceptual matrix of Personality
- Describe the genetic/biological and environmental factors that contribute to the structuring and development of the Personality
- Know the different methods of Personality research
- Describe and differentiate the main theoretical models in the study of the Personality with respect to its objectives, concepts, assumptions, and methods
- Reveal an integrative perspective of Personality complexity

- The different perspectives on personality concept, from the past to the present.
- The determinants of personality and its articulation with the formation and development of the personality.
- The methods used to study the personality.
- the multiple theories of personality and the search for an integrative theory.
