Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:
- Characterize the Criminal and Forensic Psychology as a field of study applied to the characterization and analysis of the complexity of criminal behavior, identifying the actors of this process: the victim, the context and the offender.
- Identify the key explanatory variables of criminal behavior and to recognize the importance of integrative perspectives.
- Understanding how the knowledge and methodologies of Criminal and Forensic Psychology can be applied to the assessment / intervention with offenders and victims.
- Analyze the concepts, challenges and problems that forensic psychologists face in carrying out their duties.
- Analyze the collaboration between psychologists and specialists of other areas of the Justice System, including professionals from other areas of the criminal sciences, social and human.

- The psychological processes and the criminal behaviour.
- The criminal behaviour and areas of application of Forensic Psychology.
- The forensic psychological assessment and judgment.
- Application Areas of Forensic Psychological Assessment.
- Technical advice to the courts.
- The expert report.
