Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:
- Develop knowledge, attitudes, and skills previously acquired on other CUs, such as integrating and applying these to the stomatognathic system as a part of the human body.
- Acquiring knowledge on the biological and chemical principles of several clinical aspects of Dentistry.
- Boost the need for ongoing training.
- Grant the student with the basis for scientific evidence based evaluation of papers.
- Superficially approach the use and purpose of lab experience in OB and Dentistry.
- Knowing and understanding the lectured topics, such as the ability to analyse, synthesize, and integrate information.
- Analysing, interpreting, and critical and intervening discussion regarding situations related to the lectured topics.
- Regular analysis of knowledge and seeking additional information in order to correct blind-spots.
- Evaluating papers and integrating this information for improving oral health.
- Understanding the experimental method as the basis of learning and practice in Medicine
