Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:
  • 1- Acquire knowledge about the importance of studying animal behavior
  • 2- Address behavior study methods and sampling methods
  • 3- Acquire knowledge about the mechanisms and behavioral patterns in different animal species.
  • 4- Empower the student to understand the consequences of human / animal interaction.
Syllabus:
    1. Cattle, Sheep, Goat, Swine, Horse and Galinaceous Ethology .
    2. Dog, Cat and Small mammal (new companion animals) Ethology .
    3. Learning, Memory and Motivation .
    4. Applied Behaviour to the daily activities of the Veterinary Surgeon .
Practice Component
  1. Conducting exercises to consolidate the subject taught in the lectures.
  2. Field trips
