Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:
By the end of the curricular unit, the students should:
- Be able to identify and use the tools required to the proper management of the consulting office.
- Have the capacity to understand the internal and external needs of the organization.
- Be able to understand the office as an institution that must be well managed in terms of tools and behaviour.
- Know the concepts and the terminology regarding organization and management that will allow them an easy communication with the other actors in the surrounding environment.
- Have acquired the competencies in organization and management necessary to the creation of a success company.
Syllabus:
The management will be approached in terms of tools (Planning, Structural Organization and Control) and in terms of behaviour (Motivation and Leadership). At the same time, the relationship between the external partners will be emphasized, namely the importance of Marketing, Communication and Quality. The individual characteristic, a relevant factor in Human Resources, will be considered regarding the recruitment and the entrepreneurship. The Management and the Organization of the office will be also regarded in all their components, emphasizing the legal and financial issues. It will be done an adequate approach to the elements of a business plan as the basis for the creation of a company.
