Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:
The CU aims to consolidate the knowledge obtained in Molecular Biology and applied it to the diseases at the molecular level. After attending the course, students should be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge about molecular diagnostic techniques
- Execute molecular diagnostic techniques trained at classes and Know the necessary equipment
- Select and evaluate molecular diagnostic techniques
- Use different substrates and biological samples
- Have critical thinking
- Demonstrate ability to analyse scientific papers that focus on diagnosis of molecular pathologies
