The CU aims to consolidate the knowledge obtained in Molecular Biology and applied it to the diseases at the molecular level. After attending the course, students should be able to:

  • Demonstrate knowledge about molecular diagnostic techniques
  • Execute molecular diagnostic techniques trained at classes and Know the necessary equipment
  • Select and evaluate molecular diagnostic techniques
  • Use different substrates and biological samples
  • Have critical thinking
  • Demonstrate ability to analyse scientific papers that focus on diagnosis of molecular pathologies
  • Discuss experimental results using the proper terminology
  • Participate in a teamwork / projects related to molecular diagnostic techniques
