Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:

The curricular unit of Human Physiology, allow to give to the students an overview of the basics concepts of physiology (body fluid compartments, excitability, intercellular communication), which will enable them to understand and study the functioning of each organ, systems and their mechanisms regulation (neural and hormonal).

After attending the course, students should be able to:

  • Know and understand the terminology used; Apply basic knowledge of Physiology;
  • Describe the functioning of the various organs and systems;
  • Identify and define the various methods of assessment of the human body;
  • Have an overview of the normal functioning of the human organism;
  • Have developed reasoning ability
