Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:

The objective of the CU Physiology II is to provide the student with basic knowledge about the function of the organs of the human body. The student will be able to perform a self-learning to update the advances in research and to apply them to practical professional activities

2. Reflexes and muscle tonus.
3. Physiology of the cerebral cortex, basal ganglia and cerebellum.
4. Olfaction and Taste.
5. Auditory and vestibular systems.
6. Vision.
7. Somatic sensorial systems.
8. . Pain and temperature.
9. Sleep and Memory.
10. The limbic system.
11. Heart: cardionector system and mechanical functions.
12. Heart: regulation of cardiac debit.
13. Regulation of arterial pressure and blood flux.
14. Respiration: pulmonary function.
15. Regulation of respiration.
16. Kidney and bladder.
17. Gastrointestinal functions.
18. Functions of the endocrine system.
19. Regulation of feeding behaviour.
