Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:

Theoretical approach:

  • Students will acquire theoretical knowledge which enable sufficient autonomy in the implementation of waxing reproducing the anatomical accidents, volume and position in the dental arch characteristic of each tooth. Just as the relationship of the various adjacent teeth and their opponents in the various skeletal classes.
  • The student should know the different types of Laterality Movement and teeth responsible for guide.
  • The student should know the different types of protrusion and lateral excursions Movement and teeth responsible for their guide and Proprioception.

Practice:

  • Students will fabricate faultless designs in their size and in their appearance (always clean) free of any positive or negative bubble.
  • The student must be able to recognize the different types of teeth as well as play them accurately and relate them to the adjacent and opposing it is very important to respect the points of contact and occlusion.
  • The student should know how to construct teeth function as both sides of protrusion.
Syllabus:

The lectures consist of detailed description of the anatomy of each tooth organ in it´s position in the dental arch in a dental class I.

Is relationship approached with the antagonist teeth and several guides resulting from mandibular path.

Practical classes consist of the detailed waxing anatomy of each tooth organ in its position in the dental arch dental class I. The wax should have a relationship with the antagonist teeth and verification of various tabs resulting from mandibular path.
